Skilled Nursing & Therapy Staff General Requirements

We adhere to JCAHO guidelines and Department of Health Services standards, as such, our home health care employees must meet strict employment requirements, including:

• Thorough screening of all work references.

• Meeting state licensing and health requirements.

• Minimum one year related health care experience.

• Extensive orientation to the Perfect Touch Home Health Care professional standards.

• Strict adherence to the Perfect Touch Home Health Care code of ethics and professional standards.

• All applicants submit completed files with documents containing:

1. A background check
2. 10-panel drug screening
3. Current licenses and certifications
4. Driver's license or ID
5. Skills checklist (each specialty)
6. Competency testing (80% or better)
7. Two references
8. Titre
9. PPD or X-ray
10. Health questionnaire
11. Hepatitis B or waiver
12. MMR and Varicella Titre
